ARRACO Global Markets has opened a new office in Singapore led by Adam Gibb, CEO of APAC Markets.
ARRACO Global Markets, an award-winning inter-dealer broker specialising in matching buyers and sellers in commodity markets, has announced the opening of its new Singapore office led by Adam Gibb, CEO of APAC Markets.
ARRACO’s Singaporean presence will mark a continuation of the company’s expansion into the Asia Pacific region. The team has already enjoyed success by brokering its first trade on Naphtha with Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). The opening of this office is ARRACO’s second in the APAC region and fourth globally, adding to locations in Japan, Dublin and London.
CEO of APAC Markets, Adam Gibb, who holds extensive management and business development experience in North and South Asia said: “The decision to expand was the logical next step in our business growth strategy. We view Singapore as a promising and exciting opportunity for the company, as it is one of the world’s busiest ports and a leading commodities derivatives hub.
“As we continue to recruit, we plan to introduce a number of desks in the coming months. The rapid growth we have experienced in such a short period of time provides us with a positive outlook for the company’s development. It is a great time for the ARRACO team.”
Singapore plays a critical role in supporting regional trade flows and will act as a hub for ARRACO brokers to build new networks and manage existing relationships.
